My skincare routine

Over the past year, my skincare routine has changed so much and I can’t believe that I’ve finally found products that work well with my skin and work well together!

If you’re interested in finding out how I take care of my skin daily, read on!

IMG_0153

So for starters a little background info on my skin; I have pretty normal, oily-combination skin, but with using these skincare products I’m finding it’s definitely more normal. If you’d had asked me a year ago what skin type I had, I’d tell you ‘OILY!’ but really, with finding the right products for me, I learned that my skin was simply dehydrated and produced oil to compensate for it.

I’m still prone to breakouts but with great cleansing products i’ve found that texture and breakouts have minimised!

For the purpose of this routine morning 1 and 2 will be mentioned and evening 1 and 2, as I use different products on alternate days.

Morning 1 routine:

Cleanse: The first thing I do every morning before I start the day is to cleanse my face with the Arcona White Tea Purifying CleanserThis cleanser is amazing for anyone who’ has a dry-normal skin type. The best thing about this cleanser is that not only does it smell AMAZING, but it cleans the skin well without stripping it (ie making it feel tight). I cleanse my face using the Clarisonic Mia 2 device. I won’t talk too long about this device, because I have a review on it here to check out for more info. Through every cleanse I’ve used in the past 2 years I’ve always used my Clarisonic with it both morning and evening. The Clarisonic is amazing and I highly recommend it, no matter what your skin type is, as there are multiple brush heads to use for every concern.

Serum: For serum, I tend to change it up since my skin doesn’t get too affected by a change in serum. I always like to use a brightening serum because really, who doesn’t love radiance? haha. Currently I’m using the Murad Advanced Active Radiance Serum. I’ll apply a 5 cent piece amount to dry skin after cleansing.

Moisturiser: Arcona Magic White Ice Hydrator is amazing for me as I’ve always hated the heavy feeling of creams and I don’t want anything that could clog my pores. I love wearing this under makeup as it’s so light and gets absorbed instantly, but still hydrates my skin so well! This is probably the product which I noticed changed the way my foundation and makeup sat on my face through the day. long story short- my makeup lasts alot longer on my face now!

Eye balm: So I never previously used any eye products on my eyes as it was never a concern for me personally. I feel lucky to not have much discolouration under the eyes (for now) but recently I had really irritated eyes and me being me, I would rub them ruthlessly. One morning I woke up to crepe-y undereyes and I decided I’d use the Algenist complete eye renewal balm to hydrate my undereyes. I love the texture as it’s not heavy or sticky and works well at hydrating the under eye area. As for the price, I know it’s got a pretty insane price tag but.. It helps! hahah

Spot treatment: For the occasional spot or bump I’ll apply some Khiels Acne Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment (that was a mouthful). This is lightweight, and contains salicylic acid in it to help clear the breakout. It works nicely without drying the skin out. I love the product design as it has a little nozzle so you don’t apply too much product.

Evening 1 routine:

Makeup Remover: I like to remove my face makeup with the Garnier Micellar Water. This product is awesome at removing all the day’s makeup and doesn’t irritate or leave a greasy feeling on the skin afterwards.

Cleanse: Evening cleansing has become something I look forward to ever since I began using the Murad AHA BHA Exfoliating CleanserThis stuff is amazing as cleansing the day’s dirt and oils away and even though it has AHA and BHA’s in it, it is gentle enough for me to use every night (how often you use this cleanser will depend on your skin!). I love how this cleanser also has a fine grainy texture which helps to buff away any excess dirt and impurities. Again, I’ll use this with my Clarisonic device.

Tone/ Treatment: Every alternate evening I’ll use the Alpha-H liquid GoldBecause this product has Glycolic in it, I will use this every second night to help with brightening, and repair, as well as surface refining of the skin. Being taught about the benefits of a process called ‘controlled trauma’ through the Alpha-H skincare educational trainer I’ve learned that glycolic can benefit the skin in various ways; including the boost of collagen in the skin and pigmentation. To get the full benefit of this product I won’t use any other products on my skin in the evenings when using this treatment. Just be careful when first using this as glycolic may be strong on some sensitive skins.

Morning 2:

Cleanse: The morning after using Liquid Gold I like to use the Tarte Frxxtion Stick Exfoliating cleanser stick to help gently buff away the excess debris that the Glycolic treated the night before. After a light cleanse with the tarte stick I’ll then do my usual cleanse with the Arcona White tea Purifying Cleanser and my Clarisonic.

Serum: Same as morning 1 Serum and treatment steps.

Evening 2:

Same serum-treatment steps as morning 1.

Additional extra’s:

Occasionally I’ll choose to use a mask to treat or brighten if I have an event or find that my skin needs a little pick-me-up.

My favourite masks to go for are the Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Mask and the Murad Intensive C radiance Peel.

So what products are your go-to skincare products?

Do you use or like any of the same skincare products as me?

How Murad Skincare’s AHA BHA exfoliating cleanser has totally changed my skin!

Today I thought that I’d share one of my most loved cleansers with you all!

I’ve been using the Murad AHA BHA exfoliating cleanser every night for almost a month now and it’s safe to say I’ve whole heartedly fallen in love with it!

IMG_8081.JPG

Before using this cleanser, I’ve always valued the importance of exfoliation on the skin. For anyone who doesn’t know the benefits of exfoliation for our skin, I’ll make it short and simple for you. Exfoliation aids skin cell turnover in the body which means that the process of new baby skin cells coming to the surface will be shortened. If your skin cell renewal is faster, this means that you get a better time-frame for which any surface pigmentation can be reduced!

Another short-term benefit of exfoliation to the skin is that the surface of the skin is improved immediately! I love the feeling of putting on my makeup the day after an exfoliating mask and it sits so well, with less texture on the surface!

So now that I’ve covered some of the benefits of exfoliation I’ll jump straight to how awesome the Murad Exfoliating cleanser has been for my skin.

On the first use I was a little weary of this product being ‘too’ exfoliating to my skin, as it contains both AHA and BHA’s (Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids; don’t be scared of the word ‘acid’). I’ve loved using Salicylic Acids products previously to control breakouts, but I have never used Glycolic Acid so I was a little cautious at first.

The first time I used this I was careful and was unsure of whether I should use it with my Clarisonic (that I can’t go a day without using), and I ended up using it anyway! To my surprise, even after the first use of this Murad cleanser, my skin felt so clean, and smoother (just like after any exfoliation process) but the most surprising fact was that it didn’t feel tight or dry/striped of moisture! I was so impressed and its safe to say, to this day I’m still impressed!

I like to use my cleanser every alternate cleanse, which means for me every night. I chose to use this in the nighttime for my evening cleanse as I think it works better than my normal cleanser in terms of truly cleansing all the day’s makeup and dirt off. The amount I use is only a five-cent piece amount that covers the entire face and cleans so well with such little product!

Also note that, if i choose to use one of my favourite exfoliation masks like the Ole Hendrikson Truth Sugar Glow mask  I WON’T use this exfoliating cleanser that same night, since it’s a bit TOO much exfoliation!

I simply love this cleanser, and I really recommend trying it if you love anything that exfoliates and you’re looking for a great cleanser that will help with smoothing texture and complexion!

What are your thoughts on this new Murad Cleanser?

The new way to get Fuller lips without injections thanks to Benefit Cosmetics!

FullSizeRender

With the launch of Benefit Cosmetic’s new extension to the ‘They’re Real’ line, with the latest addition to tackle all bases of the lips!

So to start off, the packaging of this new lippie is super cute, and I love that this is the same shiny, titanium-like packaging that matches the They’re Real Liner and Mascaras! What I love about Benefit isn’t just their amazing philosophy and they’re fun nature towards life, but also how innovative their products are made.

The lipstick bullet is retractable just like all the other ones in the market. The unique thing about this lipstick though, is that it has TWO colours in each bullet! This makes an amazing subtle ombre look on the lips in just one simple swipe! Now you’ll never have to buy two shades of lipstick to create an ombre effect. Who else has the problem of not knowing what two shades match to create that look too? I think this lipstick solves those problems for you too.

Another unique point about this lipstick is that it has a ‘custom teardrop tip’ which is easy to use, and I definitely found that it was easy to apply and the formula of the lipstick was creamy and pigmented, finishing off to a demi-matte, subtle shine finish. I love the finish off this lipstick too, as it helps for anyone wanting to achieve that ‘full lip’ look, since it’ll help to reflect the light and create the illusion of fuller lips!

FullSizeRender.jpg-1

With the product stating on the packaging that it contains a ‘lipstick and liner’ in one, I personally feel it does deliver on that since the longwear and staying power of this formula is incredible! Even these swatches I did for this blogpost were difficult to get rid of with micellar water!

It’s so funny because anyone who knows me, knows I’m more of a pink or red lip kinda girl (lets just say, pretty standard basic colours) and so I hardly ever experiment with wearing oranges or bright cool undertone corals and reds. On applying the shade in this blogpost (Flame Game) I am so impressed! I really love the colour and I definitely feel like this shade is a lot more everyday wear than first anticipated.

Final thoughts on this new range of lipsticks is that it get’s my approval! If you’re after something fast and easy, and want to naturally enhance your lips definitely try the Double the Lip Lippies from Benefit Cosmetics!

I’d love to hear what you think of this new launch!

Benefit’s New Dandelion addition to the family

Benefit Cosmetics’ Dandelion family just keeps getting better with the addition of the new powder highlighter which goes by the name of Dandelion Twinkle! Coming out today for us Aussie Beauty lovers, I am so so happy as it’s launched right on my birthday!

The packaging of this beauty is a beautiful metallic ballet pink, with a single dandelion on the outside of the trademark Benefit Boxed powder.

Described as a ‘nude-pink powder for highlighting and illuminating’ this is the exact function it fulfils.

IMG_5511

When you open the box, inside you get an applicator brush for the highlighter which is specially shaped to be slightly rounded on the edges to apply your blush with a smooth blended application. Personally, speaking I find that for my love of intense and beaming highlighter on the face, this brush doesn’t give that effect. Instead, you will love the brush which comes with this product if you like a natural yet, lit-from-within glow.

The colour of the powder when you open the product is a light ballet pink, almost mixed with a pearly finish and there are no large chunks of glitter in the highlight shade.

When swatching this highlight, it definitely gives a natural lit finish to the skin, with a hint of a light powder finish. It is extremely fine and smooth to the touch, which I would think is because of it’s baked technology.

FullSizeRender

So here’s where you’re probably thinking, what is she going on about; but the scent of this highlighter is actually a delight to me! It smells a little bit like roses, or a slight floral scent! And anyone who knows me knows, that I love roses or floral fragrances and scents, so this highlighter is actually really impressing me!

Another awesome thing I love about all the box-o-powders that Benefit Cosmetics offers, is that no only do they provide a brush, but they all have an awesome mirror encased in the box, so it’s perfect for travelling and that sneaky makeup application on the go!

Final words on this highlight is that it’s definitely an awesome highlight for most skin-tones and those who are very fair will LOVE it! The packaging is on-point, and I am definitely gonna be rocking a slightly more subtle highlight over the next few weeks, thanks to this baby!

Marc Jacobs Beauty ‘ReMarcable’ Foundation Review

So for all beauty lovers and those in between, the ‘ReMarcable’ Foundation would have definitely slipped into your feeds or conversations. For those who have never used this foundation, this will definitely be helpful for you to find out if this foundation suits you and you need to know about this amazing product!

So for all those who know me, they know I am in LOVE with Marc Jacobs Beauty products! Packaging, quality and style of the products from this brand are all top-notch in my books. So I definitely needed to try this foundation.

Let’s start with coverage and formula of this foundation product. The coverage of the ReMarcable foundation is definitely one of the highest (if not THE highest) that you will find in the market in terms of products ‘marketed’ as a foundation. With 50% pigment, in this formula, its bound to be perfect for a lover of full-coverage foundation.

Personally, I’ve always preferred a full-coverage foundation since I have pigmentation that I like to conceal. The fact that the pigment percentage in this foundation is so high, means that the texture of this formula is able to be very weightless and thin on the skin. I believe is great since there are some foundations on the market where I’ve tried to build up coverage but have to layer on a tonne just to achieve the same coverage! The only downside to having such a full coverage application is that it is super important to find the perfect shade, otherwise it’ll be quite obvious on the face!

The application of this product is highly unique as there is not pump, but instead a wand with a sphere on the end to ‘dot’ the product onto the face. While this application method is great since I didn’t have to touch any foundation throughout my entire makeup routine, I did notice that after a few uses of my foundation, the product would sometimes collect around the rim of the bottle making it pretty messy (and I’m not typically one for mess).

While applying the product I would definitely also recommend that you work in sections on the face, rather than applying the foundation to the face at once and then moving around to buff the product out. You’ll probably end up having product enough in your first application on a section of your face to actually finish off the rest of your face without having to go for seconds!

I’ve applied this foundation with both, wet and dry beauty blenders, and a buffing brush and have definitely come to the conclusion that the buffing brush is the perfect match for this fool-proof formula! Although you’ll still get a get a great coverage with the beauty blender, I found that with the buffing brush (I used the Marc Jacobs Face III brush) you have a lot more ease in working the product well into the skin and you’ll find the foundation becomes ‘one’ with the skin, being even less detectable, but still providing that flawless finish you’re after!

The wear throughout the day with this foundation is the same as other foundations I have tried with a full-coverage, long-stay formula. I have oily-combination skin type and for me, anything tends to slide off in hot weather, so I would still set this foundation with a translucent powder, and touch-up throughout the day to keep it from sliding.

This foundation definitely comes with a high-end price tag ($79 AUD) but knowing the little amount of product that I’ve needed (4 dots) for a full-face routine, it’s well worth it!

The new exfoliator to change skincare

Everyone in the Beauty Industry knows that Tarte Cosmetics have amazing makeup that is high performance and natural. But with Tarte Cosmetics beginning to introduce skincare into their repertoire, the skincare world is about to change!

One of Tarte’s new skincare products about to hit Sephora in Australia is an handy little exfoliator which fits in the palm of a hand. This little stick is called the ‘Frxxxtion Stick’. Packaged in the cutest little ‘roll-on-deodorant’ style packaging, this exfoliator is so easy and portable, with no mess.

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

I decided I’d give this a go since I love anything exfoliating and purifying for the skin!

Applying this product was super easy and gentle to the skin, with the charcoal coloured exfoliating gel easily applying all over the face. Dispensing the product was simple with a twist of the base of the stick and easy to hold in the hand while massaging the product into the face.

With most exfoliating masks/gels I like to keep it on the face for around 10 minutes just to create a bit of a purifying mask and added benefits, so after the 10 minutes I simply used my hands to massage the product into the face a little more before washing it off.

img_2671I found that the grain of this particular exfoliator was supe
r fine and didn’t create any redness for my sensitive skin! After washing off this product I found that my skin was definitely a lot smoother just like after exfoliating with most other masks I’ve used. I like the fact this exfoliator is super gentle on the skin but still does a great job at getting rid of the outer layer of skin cells. This product definitely leaves the skin feeling clean and doesn’t strip the skin of it’s hydration!

For the girl on the go, this is definitely a product I’d recommend. Another ting I love about this product is the price! For $36AUD it’s a must-have in any skincare routine.

I know that I’ll be packing this in my suitcase when I travel to Europe later on this year!!

So what are your favourite Exfoliating products and why?

Must have summer makeup products

You know that feeling of a fresh makeup application, all set and applied so well, mascara and eyeliner in all the right places? And suddenly out of nowhere, a big heatwave comes along and your makeup is doing all the things from your worst nightmares.

Here’s some melt-proof makeup products to keep the summer heat away from your beat face!

1

Caudalie Beauty Elixir

The French definitely know their way around mists and I know I’ve kept this particular one close to me through the Sydney summer heatwaves! Not only does this amazing mist set your makeup, but you can even use it as a part of your skincare routine. This mist helps to hydrate your skin and revitalise it, and gives it that pick-me-up that we all need after a long day outside in the sun or at work in the aircon.

This mist also has peppermint oil, which gives it such a refreshing scent and a beautiful freshness. I love this, and have been experiencing an improvement in the overall look and feel of my skin whilst using it. Definitely an investment worth purchasing, and for anyone who’d like to try it, theres a smaller bottle on sale thats only $21 for 30ml.

Makeup Forever Mist and Fix

Just like the Caudalie Beauty Elixir, this spray is makeup’s perfect companion! This sits so well over a full face of makeup helping to shield and protect your makeup from the elements all day! This miracle worker also helps to keep hydration in the skin and I love that it doesn’t contain any alcohol!

A handy tip with this spray is that you can even spray your eyeshadow brush or highlighting brush and apply with your favourite eyeshadow pigment or highlighter to create an even more pigmented finish to your favourite eyeshadow or highlighter! Gotta love multi-use products!

Givenchy Prism Libre Loose Powder

Summer sun does have a habit of melting off foundation since it’s a liquid/cream formula, that’s why it’s pretty important to incorporate some powder to set the face during these hotter months. A favourite setting powder of mine to stay matte and oil-free all day long is the Givenchy Prism Libre powder. Not only does this powder have a luxurious packaging (as do all Givenchy products), but it also helps to brighten and colour correct enhancing your makeup as a final step! I personally love the floral scent it has, and it’s definitely on my summer ‘setting’ list.

Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade

This product for for the beach-lover’s of summer! If you love spending time out and about and for those in particular who love getting into the waves, the formula of this beauty is waterproof and sweat-proof. Dipbrow Pomade comes in a variety of shades and undertones to match any hair colour.

This product will also take you through a whole year, with the amount of product packed in each jar! A little goes a long way!

So what are you summer makeup must-haves? Are any of the above products on your list?

3 star products from Marc Jacobs Beauty

For anyone who’s unfamiliar with the Marc Jacobs, (I highly doubt there’s many of you) he’s a fashion designer, has an incredible line of fragrances and also does amazing beauty products!

Those who’d like to find some new favourites or even just beginning their journey with Marc Jacobs beauty, here’s the top 3 buys from his endlessly sleek collection of beauty products.

Le Marc Lip Creme Lipsticks

With an incredible non-drying formula, this lipstick is a must have in any makeup lover’s bag! There’s so many shades to choose from so everyone will be happy with their perfect shade and undertone. These lippies last all day, with minimal touch up and because they’re such low maintenance, they’re perfect for on-the-go application. With a magnetic closure cap, you’ll be happy to open your bag and not be surprised by an unpleasant lipstick open inside! My favourite shade would definitely have to be ‘Infamous’ number 228.

#Instamarc Might filtering Contour Powder

Now if you’re a fan of contouring and sculpting the face, but hate the fact that those usual contouring palettes have so many confusing shades, you’ll love this little beauty. With only 2 shades, one for highlighting and one for contouring, you’ll get no wastage of shades that you won’t use, and the powders are in such a slim and low profile compact that it’ll fit in even the fullest makeup drawers. This product comes in 3 different levels of tones, but my favourite for anyone who has a warm, light-medium skin-tone is the number ’40’, it’s got the perfect banana toned highlight and a natural cool-tones contour shade. Another winner about this palette is that it’s got a super large mirror to do an entire makeup routine and see your entire face for all the details!

Fineliner Ultra Skinny Gel Eye Crayon

Who loves wearing eyeliner but hates when it ends up on the bottom of your eye almost making you look like you haven’t slept in 10 years!? This handy little liner will stay on all night through sweaty dancefloors, or just through a stressful summer’s day at work! The fine-line point on this gel cream eyeliner is super helpful to get a precise wing or line on the lids, or even the waterline. This formula allows you to achieve a smudged look if you smudge within 5 seconds of applying and once the 5 seconds is over, you’re set for the day (or night!). The packaging element is awesome as it’s a retractable pen and you won’t be caught short without a sharpener.

So what are your favourite Marc Jacobs Beauty products? Or what are you keen to try after reading about this makeup brand?

Review of the Tarteist Pro-To-Go Palette by the brand Tarte

Hello again lovelies,

Today I decided I would bring a mini-review on a brand whose eyeshadows I absolutely love! Tarte has released a new ‘Pro’ range in Sephora and with this launch comes an exciting little addition to the mix; the Tartiest ‘Pro-To-Go’ palette!

So what caught my attention at first sight was the lovely ‘soft’ to the touch senesation that it has. The feeling is like a smooth, velvety like feeling (but without the felt-like fur). Another thing I think Tarte does really well with their eyeshadow palette’s is the fact that they always include a mirror so you can easily apply on the go (which is exactly what the name of this palette assumes).

This palette includes 6 shades with warm undertones (yay!) of which 3 have a satin finish, and the other 3 are matte.

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

The following are the swatches corresponding to the palette shade names on the right in the pan!

fullsizerender-jpg-1

fullsizerender

All of these shades are easily buildable and so blendable which is what I love, so there’s definitely an ease of application with these pigments. One thing I have found using this palette is the satin shades (Hype, Boss, and Dominate) are better applied to the eyelid with a finger as they don’t pick up as easily on a brush. For all you makeup lovers who like decadent scented makeup, this palette also has a beautiful smell of cocoa right from the moment you open it so applying your eyeshadow has never been more luxurious.

This palette is also formulated without all the nasties like parabens, mineral oils, phthalates, triclosan and gluten, so for any ingredient conscious beauty lovers out there, its perfect for you.

My final words on this amazing palette that pack a punch a lot bigger than it’s size; is that it’s definitely going to be super popular, and has all the shades you need to create a variety of looks to take you from day-to night, right in the convenience of your clutch!

I’d love to hear your thoughts on Tarte’s eyeshadows palettes and what your favourite eyeshadow palette is!

Sneak Peek and First Impressions on MAC’s X Mariah Carey Collection

Hi Lovelies,

I was so excited to get my hands on some of my fave pieces in the Limited Edition MAC X Mariah Carey Collection! Honestly, even after spending so much money lately with Christmas just around the corner, I couldn’t resist the temptation of this beautiful collection.

To find out about my faves, recommendations and also find out what I didn’t like (as much) keep reading!! Prices will also be shown for each product I post about so you can start saving up for when this officially launches in Australian MAC stores.

fullsizerender-2

Touch My Body Loose Powder $40

This is one of those products that everyone MUST get from this collection! I love the whole concept of this product since I’m all about that glow and shimmer! This is a body shimmer and puff that comes in the most luxurious packaging. I love how evenly the delicate puff distributes the shimmer without any kind of patchiness. The shimmer lies beneath a plastic sieve-like covering, so that the product doesn’t fly up or lead to wastage which I think is super innovative and clever of them to make. The shimmer itself is not heavy or chunky with large pieces of glitter and glides on really smoothly. One of the things i also love about this product is that you could dip your highlighting brush into it and use it on the face as a highlighter for the face as well!

The only negative I can find with this product is that because the shimmer is quite a gold-bronze shade, it may not suit a fair complexion! However with summer amidst us, this is a great product to glam up your beach-to-party look! I also love how this is a novelty product in terms of what MAC sells usually, so I instantly grabbed this one when I got the chance.

Cremesheen Lipstick $40

img_9416

The first thing i thought when I caught a glimpse of this lipstick was ‘OMG THAT GLITTERY BULLET’ I couldn’t even deal! The limited edition collection bullet is silver glittery with a gold band around the middle. It’s smooth to touch, even though it looks like a rough glittery exterior, which I love. The detail of the lipstick is on-point, with Mariah Carey’s signature on the inside and an engraved butterfly on the actually lipstick!

In terms of texture this lipstick is creamy (as the name suggests) and sheer in coverage. Because it’s got quite a creamy formula, it doesn’t last as long on the lips as a matte lipstick would, so I like wearing this when I’ve got little to no makeup on, or an intense eye look, to balance it out.

Most of the shades are quite pale nudes, so I decided I’d start with a more versatile nude for my warm complexion, this one is called ‘McIzzle’, super cute! I definitely feel like I’m going to grab more if not all, just to have as a collection since they’re right down my alley in terms of packaging!

Pro Longwear Lipliner $46 (‘New Ombre’)

So this being my first MAC lipliner, I have to say I’m super impressed with them! These lipliners glide on so smoothly and don’t tug or drag on the lip. As well as that, they have a really good pigment and last really well on the lips. Theres 2 shades in this limited edition collection and both are beautiful nudes. I love the silver pencil and the gold lid which totally suits the entire collection theme. I’d probably say the only downside I have personally is that I dislike how it isn’t a retractable pencil since I always get caught without a sharpener at the best of times.

Lipglass Lipglosses $39

img_9414

So if anyone knows me, I have a love for lipglosses, more just the shimmery, glittery effect that it gives and how beautiful the colours look in the tubes! I grabbed two beautiful pinky nude shades, and I love how the doe-foot applicator gives me enough to coat my lips in one go, so I don’t have to dip in a second time for more product. The colours are all really beautiful nudes and theres even a clear glittery shade which works well over any colours lipliner or lipstick!

Eye Shadow Quad palette (‘I’m that Chick you Like’) $72

FullSizeRender-3.jpg

So upon looking at this palette, I couldn’t pass on the packaging, and I’m also jus ta sucker for eyeshadow palettes in general! There are two palettes in this collection, one of them being a cool toned combination and one being warm. The palette I purchased (I’m that Chick you Like) is the warm toned palette and most of the shades did take a while to build up pigment apart from the Veluxe Pearl shade (Whenever you call) which was super pigmented but had a bit of fallout as a result. For the $72, I definitely think that there a better quality and valued eyeshadow palettes out there, but it’s a limited edition palette afterall, thats got super glam packaging!

So what are your first impressions upon reading about this Limited Edition Collection?

What will you be grabbing when this amazing collaboration launches?

Love Anna xo
